JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who retired as Sub Inspector of the Central Industrial Security Force, is aggrieved by the non fixation of the gratuity and pension payable to him based on the last drawn salary. In connection with his grievance, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P3 representation before the 1st respondent and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 representation, within a specified time frame.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as also the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 representation, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of
