JUDGMENT

The petitioner claims appointment under the 3% reserved quota available to persons with disabilities, as provided under the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995, saying that she is having locomotor disability or cerebral palsy to the extent of 50%. According to her, she had submitted an application for appointment as Peon, pursuant to Ext.P5 notification issued on 11.10.2006. Her claim is for consideration as against the vacancy of Peon under the 2nd respondent Co-operative Bank, in the reserved quota. Accordingly a representation has been submitted before the Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies, which is produced as Ext.P7.

In such circumstances, it is directed that the Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies, the 1st respondent, shall consider and pass orders on Ext.P7, if it is not disposed of so far.
