JUDGMENT
Aggrieved by the with holding of the result of the SET examination 2000 and the delay in disposing of Ext.P4 representation, the petitioner has approached this Court.
2. According to the petitioner the apparent reason for withholding the result is that she had not produced the certificate of M.A.Degree certificate with second class. The petitioner has since then produced the same. But the result has not been declared. She had applied to the PSC for appointment as HSST (Junior) Malayalam. PSC has provisionally interviewed her and has granted 15 days time from 16.7.2008 i.e. the date of interview to produce the S.E.T.certificate. Unless, it is produced within the time granted, her application would be rejected. It is with this background, the petitioner has come up before this Court.
3. This Court by interim order dated 29.7.2008 recorded the submission of the learned Government
Pleader that the petitioner has passed the 2000 SET examination and the certificate could be issued to the petitioner, only if the petitioner surrendered the certificate she had obtained in 2006 examination. This Court directed the second respondent to issue SET Certificate for the year 2000 on the petitioner's surrendering 2006 SET Certificate. It is also directed that if the petitioner produces the certificate before the 4th respondent within two weeks, the same would be accepted as one produced in time. Later, it was submitted before this Court on 18.6.2008 that the interim order has already been complied with.
As the very purpose sought to be achieved by filing this writ petition has been served, this writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to issue SET certificate for the year 2000 in the light of the interim order already passed by this Court.
