JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court alleging that in spite of his repeated requests before the respondents, they have not disbursed the pay revision benefits as well as the consequential increase in pension on the basis of re-fixation.

2. The petitioner was working as Contingent Sanitation Worker Category II, Circle IV under the Mattancherry Public Health Department. His service was over on 31.10.2011. The petitioner submits that he has not been given the benefits of pay revision orders that have been issued from time to time. According to him, even though pay revision orders of 2009 and 24.4.2014 have came into force, the arrears of the same have not been granted to him. Therefore, the petitioner is seeking interference of this Court in the matter.

WP(C).21384/13 -:2:-

3. Today when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, certain amounts were paid. But, the entire amount has not been disbursed to the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents, per contra, would submit that if the petitioner is ready to file a statement before the respondents within a time, they would consider the same and disburse the balance to the petitioner.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to file a statement before the respondent concerned stating the balance amount which is yet to be paid. In the event of filing such a statement, the respondents shall consider the same and disburse the balance as per the schedule fixed by the Government, within a period of six weeks thereafter.
