The petitioner, who was appointed as an L.D. Clerk in Azhikode High School with effect from 22.2.2010, against a retirement vacancy, is aggrieved by the approval that was granted to the appointment, on daily wages with effect from 22.2.2010 to 31.5.2010 and on a scale of pay basis from 1.6.2010 onwards. It is the case of the petitioner that the appointment should have been approved on a regular basis from 22.2.2010 itself. In connection with the said grievance, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P6 representation before the 2nd respondent. The limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the said representation, within a stipulated time frame, after hearing the petitioner.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.
W.P.(C).No.18781/2015 On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P6 representation, preferred by the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioner. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition as also a copy of this judgment before the 2nd respondent, for further action.
