JUDGMENT
The petitioner is seeking an expeditious publication of the revaluation result of the petitioner's answer sheet. 2.
The petitioner completed B.Sc. (Chemistry) course during the academic year 2012-2015 from Assumption College, Changanacherry, which is affiliated to the first respondent University. She is aggrieved by the non-consideration of her application for revaluation of 6th Semester examination of B.Sc. (Chemistry) subject namely "Applied Inorganic Chemistry (t)/ Qualitative Inorganic Analysis (P)". The petitioner alleges that she has passed all subjects except 1st paper of the 6th semester B.Sc. (Chemistry) subject namely "Applied Inorganic Chemistry (t)/Qualitative Inorganic Analysis (P)". The fourth respondent conducted the 6th semester examination of B.Sc. (Chemistry) course during the month of 14.3.2015. Except in the first paper in the 6th semester examination, the petitioner has
-2scored higher marks in other subjects. However, for one paper of the B.Sc. (Chemistry) namely "Applied Inorganic Chemistry (t)/Qualitative Inorganic Analysis (P)" she was awarded less than the pass marks only. Since there is no chance for any failure in the said subject, the petitioner filed application before the fourth respondent, for scrutiny and revaluation. Any delay in publishing the revaluation result, will put irreparable loss and hardships to the petitioner; it is alleged. 3.
I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent University in the matter.
4.
Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent University on instructions submitted that the last date of receipt of application for revaluation by the concerned centre is 2.7.2015 and thereafter further time of 60 days is required to complete the process.
Recording the said submission, the writ petition is
-3disposed of directing the respondent University to conduct revaluation of the petitioner's answer sheet within the aforesaid time frame.
