JUDGMENT
The prayer in this W.P.(C) is as follows:
i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction, directing the respondents 2 to 4 to return the vehicle owned by the petitioner bearing No. KL-10-Q-3609 forthwith, which was taken possession with respect to the registration of Crime No. 1184/2015 of Kodungallur Police Station;
ii) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction, directing respondents 1,2 and 7 to take immediate and effective steps against the respondents 5 and 6 and to investigate it through Crime Branch or by the Vigilance Department and to take appropriate action against them;
iii) Issue such other reliefs which may deem fit and proper on the facts and circumstances of the case; and iv) allow this Writ Petition (Civil) with costs.
2. As directed by this Court, the learned Public Prosecutor has been appraised of the instruction by the Investigating Officer concerned and there upon the learned Public Prosecutor submits today on instructions that the vehicle is not involved in this crime
