JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking for a direction to the respondent University to expedite the revaluation of the petitioner's answer sheets. 2.

The petitioner completed BCA course from Ettumanoorappan College, affiliated to the first respondent University. The petitioner alleges that she appeared for the final Semester in the subject Web Technology, Software Engineering and Client Server Computing and could not get the expected marks. On computation of the marks in all semesters, the petitioner obtained 49.75% marks in the course and for securing admission for MCA course, she requires 50% of marks. Now the petitioner is offered admission to MCA course in the Saint GITS College, Pattamuttom in the management quota, on condition that the petitioner should get 50% marks in BCA course and should produce the Certificates

-2before 30th July 2015. The petitioner expected higher marks for the final semester examinations and submitted Ext.P2 form for revaluation of the answer paper of the said subjects on 19.6.2015; it is alleged.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent University in the matter.

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent University on instructions would submit that the last date of receipt of notification was 30.6.2015 and thereafter it would take 60 days to complete the process.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that she has to pursue admission for engineering course. The last date of the receipt of application is 30.7.2015. Taking into account the submissions, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent University to conduct revaluation of the petitioner's answer sheet within the

-3aforesaid time frame and after the process of valuation, on an application submitted by the petitioner, the respondent university shall issue confidential mark list of the petitioner. Sd/- A.V. RAMAKRISHNA PILLAI JUDGE Scl.
