J U D G M E N T

Ashok Bhushan, CJ Heard the learned counsel for the appellant and the learned Government Pleader.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging police harassment. Petitioner's case in the writ petition is that she is a 21 year old Artist who wants to live on her own. It is submitted that in a habeas corpus petition (Ext.P2) filed by the mother, petitioner was permitted to live on her own. Petitioner's further case is that unnecessarily 4th respondent is calling the petitioner to police station which is harassment. 3.

Learned Government Pleader after obtaining instructions submitted that no harassment has been meted on the petitioner. It is submitted that on 27th May, 2015, a complaint was received from the mother of the petitioner that she has not heard about the petitioner for the last three months and police

W.P (C) No. 19063/2015 -:2:- was requested to find out the whereabouts of the petitioner. In that connection, police has called the petitioner only on telephone, recorded her statement and communicated to the petitioner's mother. It is submitted that police has already closed the compliant.

In our view of the matter, we do not find it a case of police harassment. Writ petition is dismissed.
