JUDGMENT
The petitioner, who was appointed as watcher under Devaswom Board on 09.06.2003, met with an accident that left him under treatment for more than 22 months. It is stated that the right leg of the petitioner was amputated. In the writ petition, the petitioner is aggrieved with the non-implementation of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995, in the respondent Devaswom Board. In this connection, he has preferred Ext.P3 representation before the 2nd respondent and the limited prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 representation after hearing the petitioner.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel for the respondents. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on
W.P.(C).No.19076 of 2015 Ext.P3 representation preferred by the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioner. The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the 2nd respondent for further action.
