J U D G M E N T
The limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that effective direction may be given by this Court to ensure that investigation in respect of Crime No.588/2014 of Feroke Police Station, Kozhikode District should be completed without any further delay.

The learned Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that on the basis of the statement dated 30.6.2015 filed by the 4th respondent-Sub Inspector of Police, Feroke Police Station that during the course of investigation, the Investigating Officer has examined 3 witnesses and seized the cheque mentioned in the complaint and that request has been made to the Canara Bank, Ramanattukara Branch for verification as such and that case is now pending to examine more witnesses and for obtaining verification report. It is submitted by the learned Public Prosecutor that investigation will be completed as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, it is ordered in the interest of

W.P(C).No.19182 Of 2015 justice that the Investigating Officer shall ensure that investigation in its entirety will be completed without any further delay, at any rate, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition stands finally disposed of.
