The petitioner stood as guarantor by giving security of her property for a loan taken by her son-in-law for business purpose. As the principal borrower committed financial indiscipline, the respondent bank proceeded against the petitioner. The limited prayer in this writ petition was for a permission to repay the amount in instalments as she was ready for the same.

2.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent bank submitted that the transaction has been closed.

Since the matter has become infructuous, this writ petition is closed.
