JUDGMENT
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, as well as the learned Government Pleader, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioners seek regularization of their service in agricultural office and also seek sanctioning of the scale of pay attached to the said post. Exhibits P5 and P5(a) representations submitted by the petitioners are said to be pending consideration with the second respondent. Seeking an expeditious disposal of Exhibits P5 and P5(a), the petitioners have approached this Court.
W.P.(c) No. 19670 of 2015
3. In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, disposes of the present writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to consider Exhibits P5 and P5(a) representations of the petitioners, and pass appropriate orders thereon as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. It is made clear that the said consideration of the representations in question shall be strictly in accordance with law, either by the respondent Bank or by the Government, as the case may be.
With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
