W.P.(c) No. 19733 of 2015, 19724/15, 19915/15, 19072/15, 19075/15 & 19688/15 ---------------------------------------- Dated this the 03rd day of November, 2015 COMMON JUDGMENT The petitioners, in this batch of writ petitions, had a grievance that they had not been paid the value of the liquor seized from their Hotels on account of the change of Government's policy. This Court initially issued an interim direction on 19.08.2015 to the Government to examine the issue and see that the amounts were paid to the petitioners. At any rate, this Court at that time recorded the readiness of the respondents to release in ten days 50% of the amounts due to the petitioners.
2. Today, at the bar, the learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the Government has already released 50% of the amounts as has been undertaken by them earlier. The learned counsel has further submitted that subsequently the petitioners have received the balance 50% also. According to him, nothing survives in the writ petitions.
