JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondent for the replacement of the petitioner's stage carriage.
2.
The petitioner is an existing stage carriage operator on the route between Alakkode and Thrissur and the permit was issued in respect of stage carriage No.KL 13 T/9369, which is valid till 30.5.2016. The petitioner alleges that he obtained clearance certificate of the old vehicle and submitted application for replacement. The respondent has not considered the application till date.
3.
I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader in the matter. Considering the nature of the submissions and the nature of the relief sought for, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application for replacement
W.P.(C) No. 19769 of 2015 -2and grant the same, if it is otherwise in the order, within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. To facilitate an early action, it shall be open to the petitioner to produce a copy of the writ petition as well as the copy of this judgment before the respondent at the earliest. Sd/- A.V.
