JUDGMENT
The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P1 application for temporary permit submitted by the petitioner.
2.
The petitioner alleges that the route between Cheruvanchery and Mahe Palam is a totally ill served route. There is urgent need specially due to Kottiyoor Festival seasons and harvest season for grant of temporary permit. It is further alleged that the students and other travelling public are walking for few kilometers presently and the public contacted the authorities for introducing a service, wherein, it seems that the authorities suggested that if some stage carriage operators, come forward with an application, the permit could be issued with; it is alleged. The petitioner further alleges that when the public approached the petitioner, he applied for the temporary permit for four months, since
-2there is temporary need under Section 87(1)(c) of the Motor Vehicles Act. The petitioner offered the vehicle KL 13/H 2262. 3.
I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader in the matter. Considering the nature of the submissions and the nature of the relief sought for, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P1 application, after affording the petitioner, an opportunity of being heard, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. To facilitate an early action, it shall be open to the petitioner to produce a copy of the writ petition as well as the copy of this judgment before the respondent at the earliest.
