JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondent university to expedite the revaluation process of her answer sheet.

2.

The petitioner who wrote final B.Tech Semester Examination in April, 2015, was shocked to know that she failed in 'Digital Image Processing' as shown in Ext.P1 mark list. The petitioner alleges that she preferred revaluation of the said paper as revealed from Ext.P2 application and Ext.P3 receipt. The petitioner reasonably apprehends that her employment opportunity in IBM Indian Pvt. Ltd as per Ext.P4 offer letter would be lost if the publication of revaluation result is delayed. Hence, she preferred Ext.P5 representation. However, till date no response from the respondents; it is alleged. It is with this background, the petitioner has come up before this Court.

-23.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent university.

4.

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent University on instructions submitted that the revaluation process would be over by the end of the first week of September. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent University to complete the revaluation process before the aforesaid time and after the revaluation is over, it shall be open to the petitioner to submit application for confidential mark list and in the event of submitting such application, the same shall be honoured by the university without any delay.
