J U D G M E N T

The petitioners, who are working as administrative staff under the 1st respondent, are aggrieved by the delay occassioned by the 2nd respondent, in considering the proposal forwarded to the 2nd respondent by the 1st respondent, seeking enhancement of retirement age from 56 years to 58 years, for employees under the 1st respondent. The limited prayer of the petitioners in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 representation, that is pending before the 2nd respondent, at the instance of the 1st respondent.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as also the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on

W.P.(C).No.20342/2015 Ext.P4 representation, pending before it, in the matter of enhancement of age of retirement from 56 years to 58 years in the 1st respondent Organisation, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy this judgment, after hearing the petitioners.
