J U D G M E N T

The limited prayer in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P3, which was submitted by the petitioner for revision of own timings.

The petitioner is a regular permit holder in respect of stage carriage bearing Reg.No.KL-8/AG 1819 on the route between Kodungalloor and Kundur, which is valid up to 05.06.2019. According to him, the service was being operated with a set of timings issued in 2011. The petitioner alleges that after the issue of the said timings, new circumstances have arisen and a new state of affairs have emerged, which warrant a revision of timings. Hence, the petitioner filed Ext.P3 application for revision of timings. Aggrieved by the non consideration of Ext.P3 by the respondent, the petitioner has approached this

Court seeking a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P3 request by issuing notice, convening a timing conference and to revise the timings of the petitioner's service within a time frame.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader in the matter. Considering the nature of the prayer, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P3 after affording the petitioner and the affected parties, if any, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the respondent at the earliest.
