JUDGMENT

The petitioner seeks permanent exemption from passing the Departmental Test for promotion to the post of Assistant Transport Officer. This is on the basis that he has attained the age of 50 years and has put in more than 25 years of service. The petitioner relies on Rule 13B of Part II of KS & SSR in this regard.

Ext. P4 representation put in by the petitioner is pending consideration. I direct the third respondent to consider Ext. P4 representation with notice to the petitioner. The needful shall be done within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of.
