JUDGMENT

The petitioners have approached this Court for a direction to the third respondent to register property covered by Ext.P1 series without waiting for a publication of Ext.P1 series in the official gazette.

2. According to the petitioners, the fair value of the petitioners' land was re-fixed by the Revenue Divisional Officer as per Ext.P1 series. However, the third respondent was insisting for a publication in the official gazette as a pre-condition for registering of respective sale deed.

3. This Court as per interim order dated 20.9.2013 directed the Sub Registrar to register the sale deed subject to the fixation of fair value procedure and to the further orders by this Court. Today when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners

WP(C).23183/13 -:2:- submitted that on the basis of the interim order, the document has been registered.

As the very purpose sought to be achieved by filing this writ petition has been served, the writ petition is disposed of making the interim order absolute.
