Dated this the 8th day of July, 2015 J U D G M E N T The petitioners, who are working as Nadaswaram Artists in Mookambi Temple in North Parur and Aluva Krishna Swamy Temple respectively, under the North Parur Sub Group of the Travancore Devaswom Board, are aggrieved by Ext.P1 order of transfer transferring them to other stations. In the writ petition, while various contentions are raised against the transfer order, the petitioners would rely on Exts.P2 and P3 representations which have been filed by them before the 1st respondent Board, and the limited prayer now urged is for a direction to the 1st respondent Board to consider and pass orders on the said representations expeditiously.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing counsel for the respondent Board. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on

Exts.P2 and P3 representations preferred by the petitioners, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. I make it clear that, till such time as orders are passed by the 1st respondent as directed above, the operation of Ext.P1 order of transfer as against the petitioners shall be kept in abeyance. The petitioners are directed to produce a copy of the writ petition, along with a copy of this judgment, before the 1st respondent for further action.
