JUDGMENT

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself.

2. Briefly stated, the petitioner, a Civil Contractor, is said to have executed certain works for the respondent corporation. Though the petitioner has made Exhibit P3 representation and Exhibit P4 legal notice for the payment of amounts due to him on account of his executing the civil works for the corporation, they have not been so far considered. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner approached this Court.

3. In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court disposes of the present writ petition with a direction to the

W.P.(c) No. 21097 of 2014 respondent to consider Exhibit P3 representation of the petitioner in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders thereon as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
