JUDGMENT

The principal amount of gratuity has already been paid to the petitioner by the first respondent. What remains is payment of the interest thereon to the petitioner.

The first respondent is directed to pay the statutory interest on the principal sum of gratuity to the petitioner from 23.09.2004 (from this date to 13.11.2007) within a period of one month. The period shall be counted from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of.
