The petitioner, who seeks appointment under the respondent Devaswom Board, pursuant to a Karazhma right that he has inherited, has preferred Ext.P1 application for the same before the respondent Board. In the writ petition, the limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 application in the light of Ext.P2 and Ext.P3 supporting documents.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 application submitted by the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. While passing orders as directed, the 2nd respondent shall take note of Exts.P2 and P3 documents that are sought to be relied upon by the petitioner, and also afford the
petitioner an opportunity of being heard. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the 2nd respondent for further action.
