J U D G M E N T

Ashok Bhushan, CJ Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader.

By this writ petition, the petitioners pray for a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to afford adequate and effective protection for the proper functioning of the temple and its administration. The allegations are being against the private respondent that he is creating obstruction in customs and rituals prevailing from time immemorial. Some complaints have also been filed before the Sub Inspector regarding the same.

From the pleadings in the writ petition, it does appear that the issues raised in this writ petition can be appropriately raised before the competent civil court and appropriate orders may be obtained. The said issues cannot be gone into in a police protection matter.

Accordingly, this writ petition is closed.
