JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer to direct the respondent to grant and issue temporary permit to the petitioner's stage carriage as per Ext.P1 application. 2.The petitioner applied for temporary permit on the route Aluva - Konthuruty in the vacancy of defaulted service bearing No.KL-40A-3038. The route is within Ernakulam and this was the only service on this route and due to the stoppage of regular service, the public are suffering, due to the abrupt stoppage of service. It is submitted that when Ext.P1 temporary permit application is seen by the respondent, he expressed his difficulty to issue the permit without orders from this Court. It seems that nobody else have applied for this vacant permit, it is alleged. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondent.

Considering the nature of relief sought for and the nature of

submissions, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider Ext.P1 application within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
