JUDGMENT

The petitioner approaches this Court, through the present writ petition, seeking a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P1 application, for making necessary changes in the timings of the petitioner's stage carriage. 2.The petitioner is the existing stage carriage operator , operating vehicle bearing registration No.KL-46-F-5323 on the route Thrissur - Kozhikode. This service is operating with a set of timings issued as early as on 04.06.2000. Subsequent to the allotment of timings to the petitioner, several other services were introduced in the same sector and the timings of several services have also been changed and, therefore, the petitioner submitted Ext.P1 application for revision of timings before the respondent. Petitioner prays for an expeditious consideration of his application. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider Ext.P1 application, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all those who are likely to be affected, within a period of one month, from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
