JUDGMENT

The petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents on their representation to get their property surveyed. They have produced Ext.P10 representation stated to have been submitted before the first respondent for conducting survey/re-survey of their registered lands in Sy.No.955/1-3 of Pattom village, Thiruvananthapuram Taluk.

2. I heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned Government Pleader.

In the light of the limited relief sought, the first respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on Ext.P10 representation after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. Appropriate action shall be taken to see that the property mentioned therein is surveyed, deputing competent officials for the same, who shall conduct the survey with notice to petitioners and all parties likely to be affected, in accordance with law. All these shall be completed within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. Petitioners shall
