JUDGMENT
Ashok Bhushan, CJ.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed alleging Police harassment. The petitioners' case is that for the last one year the petitioners are being called on every Friday and asked to wait in the Police station from morning to evening.
3. The learned Government Pleader, after obtaining instructions, submitted that in fact the petitioners, against whom a lot of complaints were obtained, were called on the last two Fridays and they came and signed the register. It is also submitted that the petitioners' allegation that they were unnecessarily harassed by the
W.P(C).21554/15 third respondent for the last one year is fully incorrect. The Sub Inspector of Police, against whom the allegation is made, joined duty in the Angamaly Police Station only on 16.6.2015. It is further submitted that the petitioners have not been asked to be present on every Friday as alleged.
In the above view of the matter, we do not find this as a case of Police harassment. The Writ Petition is closed. ASHOK BHUSHAN CHIEF JUSTICE A.M.SHAFFIQUE JUDGE vgs
