JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to levy tax only at the rate applicable to nontransport vehicle in respect of the vehicle bearing registration No.KL-07 BE/2867 as per Schedule 12 attached to the Kerala Motor Vehicles Taxation Act with effect from 1.4.2014 onwards. This Court is of the view that the petitioner shall make a request before the respondent. If any such request is made by the petitioner, necessarily, that shall be considered by the respondent within two weeks from the date of submitting such request. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
