JUDGMENT
The petitioners, who are permanent labourers working in the Farming System Research Station, Sadanandapuram, under the respondent University, are aggrieved by their placement below others in a rank list, that is prepared by the respondent University. It is the contention of the petitioners in the writ petition that they ought to have been placed above some of their juniors in the said rank list. Agitating their grievance, the petitioners have preferred Ext.P5 representation before the respondents and the limited prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 representation, expeditiously. 2.
I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and also the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 representation, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The respondents
-2W.P.(C). No. 21768 of 2015 shall, while passing orders as directed, also hear the persons against whose inclusion in the list the petitioners are aggrieved. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition together with a copy of this judgment before the respondents for further action.
