J U D G M E N T
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The accused in the case was allegedly working as an Inspector of Police in the Kerala Police Service and presently he is retired. On going through the investigation as narrated by the present investigating officer, this Court is satisfied that no fruitful investigation is going on in the matter. The matter has to be investigated by the Dy.S.P., Kayamkulam. The District Police Chief, Alappuzha shall supervise the investigation. In the result, this writ petition is allowed and the investigation is ordered to be handed over to the Dy.S.P., Kayamkulam and he shall conduct the investigation in a fruitful manner, expeditiously, under the strict supervision of the District Police Chief, Alappuzha.
