The petitioners are seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P2 objection submitted by them in response to Ext.P1.
2.
The petitioners are existing operators, operating service on the route between Thrissur and Guruvayur. The petitioners allege that altogether there are 39 services on the said route; and all these services conducting operation with uniform running time without any clash of timings with any other service. They further allege that in the timings issued in respect of services operating on the route between Thrissur and Kunnamkularm, which is having a common sector with the route between Thrissur and Guruvayur, there is an anomaly since certain services are allotted 50 minutes and certain services are allotted 60 minutes. Due to the

operation of services, violating the timings issued, complaints have been submitted by those operators, which were directed to be considered. The petitioners allege that without hearing them and others operating between Thrissur and Guruvayur, the Additional District Magistrate have suggested uniform running time for those services operating between Thrissur and Kunnamkulam; and further proposal is also appears to have made to alter the timings in respect of services operating between Thrissur and Guruvayur also; and for that, objections are directed to be submitted. According to the petitioners, the said proposal for altering the timing for services on the route between Thrissur and Guruvayur is absolutely improper, arbitrary and wholly unjustified; and there does not exist any anomaly as far as the route between Thrissur and Guruvayur is concerned; and all services are operating with the uniform running time. The anomaly exists and directed to be considered is only in respect of Thrissur - Kunnamkularm sector;

Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P2 objection submitted by the petitioners in response to Ext.P1, in the meeting scheduled to be held on 24.07.2015 after affording the petitioners and the affected parties an opportunity of being heard.
