The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondent to implement Ext.P1 proceedings granting regular permit to the petitioner.

2.

The petitioner applied for the grant of a regular stage carriage permit on the route between Walayar and Vadakkencherry on 17.05.2014. According to the petitioner, there is no sufficient stage carriage service facility. The field officers also have reported that the public interest warrants for the introduction of this service urgently; it is alleged. Though the application was considered on 12.08.2014, it was adjourned. Finally, the RTA considered the matter on 12.02.2015 and granted regular permit subject to settlement of timings and the petitioner produced the records of the vehicle on 20.04.2015 so that the granted permit could be issued

immediately. The petitioner points out that as per Ext.P1, there was no objector even for timings. As the Secretary, RTA has not fixed any timing conference for issuing the granted permit so far, the petitioner has approached this Court for implementing Ext.P1 with a proposed timing or otherwise.

3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

Considering the nature of the submission and the nature of the relief prayed for, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to implement Ext.P1 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment without fail.

To facilitate an early action, it shall be open to the petitioner to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the respondent at the earliest.
