JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the owner of a regular stage carriage permit holder, operating on the route Parappanangadi - Kottakkadavu, which is now being operated by the stage carriage bearing Registration No.KL-65-9443.

According to the petitioner, after issuance of timings to his service, several services have been introduced on the sectors of the route and some of the services have surrendered their permits. The petitioner has submitted Exhibit P1 representation before the respondent with a request to revise the existing time of his own service. The grievance of the petitioner is that the request made in Exhibit P1 is still pending consideration before the respondent. Therefore, the petitioner seeks a direction of this Court to the respondent to take an appropriate decision on the request made in Exhibit P1 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the

W.P.(C) No.22303/2015 learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of as follows:- If Ext.P1 application has been received in the office of the respondent, the respondent shall issue notice of hearing within one week of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment to the petitioner and any other stage carriage operator adversely affected by the change in the timing sought for by the petitioner and also display public notice in the office notice board of the office of the respondent and shall then, consider the prayer of the petitioner in accordance with law, by convening a timing conference, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of publication of the above notice.
