JUDGMENT
The petitioners are saddled with the liability under the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal Award, have approached this Court challenging revenue recovery proceedings. The only prayer before this Court is that the petitioners may be permitted to discharge the entire liability in twenty equal monthly instalments.
Taking note of the facts and circumstances, the petitioners are permitted to discharge the entire liability in twenty equal monthly instalments with the following conditions:
i. The petitioners shall remit Rs.50,000/-within one month from today.
ii. Thereafter, the petitioners shall discharge the balance amount in nineteen equal monthly instalments from the succeeding month onwards.
iii. If the petitioners commit default in repaying anyone of the instalments, the respondents are free to proceed against the petitioners in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
