JUDGMENT
The petitioners seek a mandamus to the first respondent not to collect tax and for a further mandamus to repair the potholes in the roads. The petitioners claim to be owners of Tipper Lorries and other motor vehicles. The contentions raised are broad in nature and not specific and seeks issuance of blanket orders against the State, that too, interdicting tax payment. It is not the case of the petitioners that the repairs are not being carried on at any particular section of the road, but that the same is widely defaulted all over the State. In the circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petition itself is not maintainable and hence would stand dismissed. No costs.
