J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has approached this Court challenging revenue recovery proceedings. The revenue recovery proceedings are initiated at the instance of the 1st respondent Bank.

This Court on 03.08.2015 ordered the petitioner to remit 50,000/- within two weeks.

₹ 3.

Learned counsel for the Bank submits that the petitioner has not remitted the said amount and also submits that the total liability is more than 2,00,000/-.

₹ 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances following directions are issued:

(i) If the petitioner remits 50,000/- which was ordered on ₹ 03.08.2015, on or before 31.08.2015, the petitioner shall be given eight monthly instalments to discharge the entire balance amount. (ii) If the petitioner commits default in paying any one of the instalments, the Bank is free to proceed against the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of.
