JUDGMENT
The learned counsel for the petitioner has reported that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the petitioner was given exemption from having the qualification and consequently he was promoted to the post of Branch Manager/Internal Auditor. The learned counsel has also submitted that in the light of the subsequent developments, the writ petition may be closed as having become infructuous, nevertheless by leaving open the issue of retrospective effect to be given to the promotion.
In the facts and circumstances, this Court closes the writ petition as having become infructuous, leaving open the issue whether the petitioner is entitled to have the promotion retrospectively.
