............................................................. ............................................................. Dated this the 24th day of July, 2015 J U D G M E N T The petitioners, who are working as HSST in various Schools are aggrieved by the present Rules that mandate that only an HSST with 6 years experience can be appointed as Principal of the School. It is the case in the writ petition that they are presently appointed as Principal-in-charge taking note of their seniority as a teacher, and unless the Rules are amended suitably to provide for a relaxation in the experience requirements, the petitioners will not stand a chance to get appointment as the Principal of the School. It is stated that, highlighting their grievance, they have already approached the 1st respondent through Ext.P3 representation. The limited prayer of the petitioners in the writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 representation expeditiously after hearing the petitioners.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as
also the submissions made across the bar, I direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 representation within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment after hearing the petitioners. The petitioners shall produce a copy of this judgment and a copy of the writ petition before the 1st respondent for further action.
