JUDGMENT
The petitioners are seeking a direction to the respondents to consider Exts. P3 and P4 statutory applications for renewal in the next meeting of the RTA.
2.
Petitioners are holding regular permits. Petitioners alleges that before the expiry of the existing regular permit, they submitted Exts.P3 and P4 applications for renewal of regular permit within the statutory period itself. After submission of Exts. P3 and P4, though there was so many meetings of the first respondent, the application submitted by the petitioners were not included for consideration so far. It is with this background, the petitioners have come up before this Court.
3.
I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Senior Government Pleader in the matter. 4.
The learned Senior Government Pleader on
W.P.(C) No. 22490 of 2015 -2instructions would submit that the next RTA meeting is scheduled to be held on 6.8.2015.
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to include Exts.P3 and P4 applications for renewal in the meeting scheduled to be held on 6.8.2015 and pass orders on the same in that meeting itself without any fail. Sd/- A.V. RAMAKRISHNA PILLAI JUDGE Scl.
