J U D G M E N T

The limited prayer in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P1, which was submitted by the petitioner for temporary permit.

The petitioner is the registered owner of a stage carriage bearing Reg.No.KL 17 C/8343. He applied for temporary permit on the route between Panampukadu and Medical College Bus Stand. He alleges that there is no stage carriage service operating on the said route and the circumstance warrants issue of temporary permit. Alleging inaction on the part of the respondent in considering Ext.P1, the petitioner has come up before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader in the matter.

Considering the nature of the prayer, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P1, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the respondent at the earliest.
