JUDGMENT

The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondent to consider his request for revision of his own timings. 2.

The petitioner is the regular permit holder on the route between Hill Bazar and Koyilandy via Kozhikode in respect of stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-11/AN 9597. The petitioner alleges that he has been operating on the route for quite some time. By efflux of time, lot of new services have been introduced on the route in question as well as certain permit holders have surrendered their permits and certain permit holders have changed their timings. All these have led to sufficient circumferences leading to revision of timings of petitioner's own service and these are all circumferences as prescribed in Rule 145 of the Kerala Motor Vehicles Rules. The petitioner has already preferred a request for revision of timings of the petitioner's own service and the

W.P.(C) No. 22695 of 2015 -2same has not been considered so far. It is with this background, the petitioner has come up before this Court. 3.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Senior Government Pleader in the matter. Considering the nature of the submissions and the nature of the relief sought for, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P1 request, after affording the petitioner and affected operators an opportunity of being heard, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. To facilitate an early action, it shall be open to the petitioner to produce a copy of the writ petition as well as the copy of this judgment before the respondent at the earliest. Sd/- A.V.
