JUDGMENT

The petitioner's vehicle was seized by the 2nd respondent on an allegation that the petitioner tried to convert a paddy land under the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008. The petitioner alleges that the seizure was illegal.

2. In any event, confiscation proceedings are to be carried out by the 3rd respondent. The 2nd respondent has seized the vehicle and handed it over to the 1st respondent. The 1st respondent shall hand over the files to the 3rd respondent and the 3rd respondent shall issue notice to the petitioner and finalise the proceedings at any rate within a period of one month from the receipt of files from the RDO. The RDO shall transfer the files within a week from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the

W.P(C) No.22715 of 2010 judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of.
