The petitioner is aggrieved by the non issue of temporary permit, pending consideration of the renewal application of the regular permit and on consent being given by the basic permit holder.
2.
The petitioner has applied for temporary permit on the route between Edappal and Pattambi in place of stage carriage bearing Reg.No.KL-12/A-9393. The petitioner alleges that the basic permit expired on 01.06.2014 and the renewal application is pending. As the basic permit holder has not applied for temporary permit, with the consent of the basic permit holder, the petitioner applied for temporary permit vide Ext.P3. As Ext.P3 has not been considered so far, the petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondent for a disposal of Ext.P3.
W.P.(C) No. 22992 of 2015 ..2..
3.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader in the matter. Considering the nature of the relief, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider Ext.P3 and issue temporary permit as prayed for, within a period of two weeks.
To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the respondent at the earliest.
