J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has approached this Court challenging revenue recovery proceedings based on the assessment order. Petitioner submits that he is contemplating to file an appeal against the assessment order and therefore revenue recovery proceedings may be deferred.

Taking note of the facts and circumstances, following directions are issued:

(i) Petitioner shall remit 75,000/- on or before 12.08.2015 and ₹ another sum of 75,000/- within a further period of three weeks ₹ thereafter.

(ii) Revenue recovery proceedings shall be deferred for a period of 2 months to enable the petitioner to work out alternative remedy based on satisfaction of the above condition. This writ petition is disposed of.
