J U D G M E N T

The petitioner availed a vehicle loan from the respondent Bank. Petitioner has approached this Court challenging revenue recovery proceedings. The only prayer of the petitioner is that, he may be given instalment facility to discharge the liability. 2.

Learned counsel for the Bank submits that the total liability is 70,029/- + charges applicable under the Revenue Recovery Act. ₹ 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances following directions are issued:

(i) Petitioner shall deposit 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) ₹ within one month from today.

(ii) Thereafter, the petitioner shall deposit the entire balance in 10 monthly instalments starting from the succeeding month onwards. (iii) The petitioner will be liable to pay all future interest as well as charges applicable under the Revenue Recovery Act. (iv) If the petitioner commits default in paying any one of the instalments, the Bank is free to proceed against the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of.
