J U D G M E N T
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Petitioner seeks for a direction to the 2nd respondent to carry out an effective investigation expeditiously in Crime No.236/2015 of the Museum Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram. According to the petitioner, even though the CC TV footages from the legislative assembly were obtained by the 2nd respondent for the purpose of investigation, no effective further steps have been taken in the matter.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor.

It has been reported that the CC TV footages have been sent for expert opinion and the 2nd respondent is awaiting the report on it. According to the learned Public Prosecutor, the investigation will be completed expeditiously.
