JUDGMENT

The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to settle the timings of his own stage carriage which was granted with a regular permit.

2.

The petitioner alleges that though he was granted with a regular permit by the RTA, Kasaragod at its meeting held on 31.3.2015 as per agenda, item No.1 as evidenced from Ext.P1, the permit was not yet issued due to the delay in settlement of timings. Hence the petitioner seeks direction to the first respondent to issue the regular permit granted by the RTA, Kasaragod by Ext.P1 with the proposed set of timings with liberty to the respondent to settle the timings subsequently by convening timing conference enabling the petitioner to operate on the route Uppala - Kurudapadavu - Anakal - Hosangadi (via) Sunkadakatte, Bedagudde, Guvedapadavu, Manirpalla and Paivalike in respect of the stage

W.P.(C) No. 23934 of 2015 -2carriage bearing registration No.KL-13/L-934. It is with this background, the petitioner has come up before this court. 3.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader in the matter. Considering the nature of the submissions and the nature of the reliefs as sought for, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to settle the timings of the petitioner's stage carriage which was granted with a regular permit, after affording the petitioner and the affected parties an opportunity of being heard, within a period of one month.
